From sport to theatre to music, Boston is an extraordinary hub for entertainment. If concerts or simple live tunes are your thing, then one of these five amazing live music venues in Boston should do the trick:

THE BEEHIVE

This self-described Bohemian eatery resides in the complex of the Boston Center for the Arts. This favorite South End spot has earned the accolade of “Top 100 Jazz Clubs in the World” by Downbeat Magazine, although jazz isn’t the limit. There’s plenty of R&B, electronica, Latin, and Reggae to be had as well. Check out the club’s music line-up here. If you’re going out with a group or wanting a full meal, make a reservation.
