TRIDENT BOOKSELLERS & CAFE

BOSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY

Fondly called the “BPL” by locals, this majestic building has been around since 1848. When you need a break from reading or studying, make sure to check out the beautiful outdoor courtyard with fountains. The beautiful architecture and quiet rooms make for a restful afternoon in one of the city’s most iconic buildings.

CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS PARK

If you thrive in the outdoors, the Christopher Columbus Park is a perfect spot near the North End to sit with a book for a few hours. Right across the street from Faneuil Hall, there are plenty of places to grab a bite or something to drink. The park overlooks the Boston Harbor and leads to the Boston Harborwalk, a lovely walkway along the water.
