boston harbor

An outdoor amphitheatre set on the the Boston Harbor, the Blue Hills Bank Pavillion is one of the city’s most storied and sought after music venues. Since the 90’s the venue has change names multiple times, so if anyone has been to, or heard of the BankBoston Pavillion, FleetBoston Pavilion, or Bank of America Pavillion, this is the same spot. Unlike its official title, the allure of this breathtaking venue and the acts who frequent its stage have maintained excellence throughout its history.

Adding on to years of stellar summer lineups, the Blue Hills Bank Pavillion will impress once again in 2015. From classics to newcomers, here are some of the best summer shows slated for this year at the Blue Hills Bank Pavillion.

Florence and the Machine

The indie pop sensation, Florence and the Machine will take the stage overlooking the harbor on Wednesday, June 10th. From the Dog Days Are Over to What Kind of Man to Shake it Out, Florence and her supporting cast should have a slew of classic hits ready for the Boston crowd.

Gregg Allman and the Doobie Brothers

For all of our longtime classic rock fans out there, this is about as nostalgic as it gets. Gregg Allman of the iconic Allman Brothers Band will join forces with fellow longtime rockers, the Doobie Brothers, for a night of jammy rifts and legendary southern rock. Gregg Allman and the Doobie Brothers will perform at the Blue Hills Bank Pavillion on Wednesday, August 19th.

The fantastic wave of support and love for Meghan Trainor and her summer 2014 hit, All About That Bass, will carry over to 2015 with the young breakout artist’s upcoming M Train Tour. The Grammy nominee and chart-topping singer will take her show to the pavillion on Thursday, August 6th.

Counting Crows

How fun is it to jam to the gleaming nostalgia of one of your favorite 90’s musical sensations? Dreadlocks, Mr. Jones and a breadth of other throwbacks will make the Counting Crows Boston performance on Sunday, August 23rd one to remember. Touring with Citizen Cope and Hollis Brown, the evening promises to impress on all fronts.

Tedeschi Trucks Band

An ensemble, eleven piece band, Tedeschi Trucks is an outstanding blues and rock act. Known for their high energy, soulful live shows, Tedeschi Trucks always gets the crowd moving. Their opener, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings are a classic funk, and soul group that also moves and grooves with phenomenal energy.
