The 28th Annual Beyond Shelter Gala is returning to The House of Blues on Thursday, April 16th. Self-dubbed as, “Boston’s biggest and best housewarming party to end homelessness” the event promises to be an extraordinarily rewarding and enjoyable experience for all those in attendance.
The evening will center around hundreds of loving and generous friends of Boston’s homeless community gathering to support the Housing First program. This superb initiative aims to eliminate homelessness by offering long-term homeless individuals respectful housing in an effort to get them off the streets and living peaceful, independent lives. With an eye towards the mentally and socially challenged individuals who find themselves staying outdoors, Housing First truly serves the city of Boston and all of its inhabitants. Anybody can be part of the solution by scooping up tickets right now.
Supporters, sponsors, and special guests can look forward to gourmet tastings from some of Boston’s most delightful restaurants. Upscale American cuisine from Eastern Standard, tasty treats from Sweet Tooth Bakery and a whole lot more will be present at the Gala for all happy visitors’ enjoyment. Accompanying those delicious offerings will be some cool and fun live music provided by the Berklee Bob Marley Ensemble Band. Throw in an exciting raffle and auction, and this event has all the makings for a classic social function.
It’s worth mentioning the Beyond Shelter Gala has won the BizBash Boston Top 100 Events for four years in a row. This impressive honor coupled with the improved sense of well-being that comes with helping others makes Beyond the Shelter an exceptionally noteworthy function.
Whether or not you’re from Boston, homelessness is an issue we all relate to through shared humanity. Take a minute to help and have a great time doing it. Travelers can come out this April and help put an end to homelessness at the Beyond the Shelter Gala.
The House of Blues is a brief cab ride or subway ride from the Boxer Boston.
