This fall take advantage of the numerous Boston Beer Festivals taking place throughout the region.
The New England Craft Beer Festival takes place on September 19 and 20 at the Clyclorama (Boston Center for the Arts 539 Tremont St.). Enjoy a wide sampling of craft brews from local vendors. Tickets start at $9 per person. Top participating breweries include Angry Orchard, Bantam Cider, Clown Shoes and Harpoon!
On September 28-29 don’t miss Harpoon’s Octoberfest one of the most popular Boston Beer festivals. This event takes place at the Harpoon Brewery with three stages of entertainment, beer and more! Tickets are $20 (which includes your own take home pint and 1 drink).
On Wednesday October 22 from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. don’t miss Harpoon X-Night at the Harpoon Brewery & Beer Hall. This monthly event takes place at the Harpoon Brewery (306 Northern Avenue). Each ticket is $20 and gets you a harpoon X-Night 16 oz mug (with the date of the event marked on it). Your mug will be filled with the highlight beer of the evening. Upcoming dates this year are November 18 and December 9 — count us in!
There isn’t a shortage of craft beer options in Boston. We love the vibe at Bukowski Tavern (50 Dalton Street). Located in the heart of Back Bay, Bukowski Tavern serves local, regional and global brews that have cult followings — they even have a beer book which lays out everything you need to know about beers from ales and IPA’s to porters and hybrids. Boston Beer Works (112 Canal St.) also serves up a wide range of beers as well as great food- making it great for meeting up with friends over beers and catching the Bruins game.
