The annual Boston Carnival Parade is a Trinidadian celebration and one of the most colorful processions you will ever see. Masqueraders dress in flamboyant costumes with the theme of their “band” and dance their way through the streets to calypso, soca and kompa music, competing to win a prize the most original costumes. It begins on the corner of Warren Street and MLK Boulevard and finishes in front of Franklin Park Zoo, where a food court offers tasty Caribbean and American dishes. A celebration of Caribbean culture and tradition, the parade is exciting for participants and spectators alike.
